Radiator Parameter Selection Using R-Heating Solution (5:30 min.)

We will make a few steps in order to start working with our radiators.

Firstly, we will create shared parameters between Revit and BIMsolution R-Heating. Then we will load radiator parameters into R-Heating solution dialog block and using sorting and filtering functionality we will change radiator parameters according to our required parameters.
We will save all these parameters as .txt file and after that we will open them as normal families.

Insert Elements by Related Objects Using R-Heating (8:32 min.)

We will make a few steps in order to distribute heating devices according to the related objects.

BIM solution R-Heating has several possibilities to place heating elements under the windows. You could place your selected elements under all windows in the project as well as you can place heating elements under windows according to calculated heating load.

And the last our created possibility is placement of elements under the window according to heating load and the ratio between radiator and window width.

Add Accessories and Pipes to Connectors Using R-Heating (3:57 min.)

We will make a few steps in order to add accessories and pipes to radiator connectors. Firstly, we will choose different places of connectors on radiators. Then we will decide what kind of fittings to use for supply and return pipes.

We also have a possibility to change the length of a pipe that will go to the room or the length of horizontal pipe.

Balance Heating System Using R-Heating Solution (3:14 min.)

In this video you will learn how to balance radiator heating system. BIM solution R-Heating is the most appropriate for that. You just have to select supply and return pipes wherever you want and press balance system then. The system will be balanced in a minute.
