As you may already know, our framing software for Revit not only creates multilayered frames for walls, floors, and roofs but also assists in designing high-quality ventilated facades, architectural curtain walls with highly detailed elements, and you guessed it – frames with structural insulated panels (SIPs) or cross-laminated timber (CLT). The software’s powerful and flexible features automate design tasks for all kinds of structures – it‘s just a matter of figuring out a workflow and using the required families! In this webinar, you’ll see how to create frames with SIPs and CLT for walls, floors, and roofs by using AGACAD’s Wood Framing software and sample families.

Great news for those working in the French version of Revit. Thanks to Eurostudio, our partner in France, AGACAD’s TOOLS4BIM Dock (2018, 2017) is now available in French!

And not only the Dock, but 3 tools are also en français:

Excel2R imports tables from MS Excel into Revit and retains style and format settings, significantly speeding up project documentation by synchronizing with the original spreadsheet, keeping your tables in Revit and in Excel tightly linked.

Smart Browser Free lets you easily find families on your computer, check their types and parameters, view them in 2D or 3D, and then drag-and-drop to add elements to your project.

Smart Browser Simple/Power lets you easily find Revit families on your computer or company server, check their types and parameters, view them in 2D or 3D, and then drag-and-drop to add elements to your project.

To use any of the above tools in French, just choose a Revit version (below) and download the TOOLS4BIM Dock in French:

The Precast Show 2018 took place at the end of February, and what a terrific event it was for us to attend and exhibit at! The venue, the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, was fantastic with plenty of space for the hundreds of exhibitors showing off everything from big rigs and various precast equipment to engineering consulting services and software like us.

Here's the big blue bear looking in on the action from outside the convention center atrium.

We'd like to extend a big THANK YOU to everyone who visited our booth!

SHK logoThe SHK (Sanitär-Heizung-Klima) Fair will take place in Essen, Germany, on March 6-9. We’re excited to be taking part in this event, courtesy of our partner Contelos. Our MEP engineer Jokubas Vaisvila will be in attendance with Contelos at booth C44 in hall 1. If you will be at SHK-Essen, we invite you to visit!

Come hear about BIM team workflow, BIM Model audits, and BIM object creation, management, and sharing within a BIM team. From our side, Jokubas will be giving live demonstrations focusing on fire protection design, including sprinkler design and fire component details. In addition, he’ll be showing what’s related to BIM MEP coordination, namely, pipe routing, clash-avoidance, wielding Cut Opening, preparing builders work drawings, and laying out hangers.
