Since the beginning of Smart Assemblies we’ve created possibility to save hours of work while creating schedules for assemblies in Autodesk® Revit®. Over the last years, Revit has improved and gives more possibilities for developers like us to create better solutions for the end users.
BIM solution Smart Assemblies is updated several times per year and in the latest update, we’ve added additional possibilities on how to create assembly schedules. Now user can select two options – "Schedule Instance" (always been here) and "Schedule View Template" (new).
"Schedule Instance" was used many years already and it was using actual Schedule from Project Browser as a Schedule Template. User must have that Schedule in the project with Schedule View Template assigned (read more about it – Automated Schedules in Smart Assemblies):
New option available – Schedule View Template: With this option, you can use Schedules View Templates. So, it’s shorter way to obtain the same result.
So, current users of Smart Assemblies: if you haven’t already done so, click the little red bubbles in the TOOLS4BIM Dock to download the latest version and put these updates to good use.
And if you're not a user of AGACAD products, you are welcome to take a free trial of any of our BIM solutions. It's easy. Just download the TOOLS4BIM Dock for your version of Revit and select the tool you'd like to try out.
