How New Truss+ RT Is Different Comparing to Truss+

Product news
November 21, 2013

There are constant changes in Revit® releases that improve the overall workability with it. There was a time when we looked for solutions capable of improving the current situation with Revit®. That is for releases from 2008 to 2012 Truss+ was the most optimal solution which worked incredibly.

Structural Trusses

As the Revit® progressed with its improvements we saw that use of Structural Trusses with Truss+ is a better solution. So we’ve built Truss+ RT from scratch using new technology, leaving only some parts in user interface that are well known to most our software users, not to cause disturbances in their work.

With the new technology changes come. We won’t use Revit® structural framing as the work families anymore, we’ll use structural trusses instead which makes Truss+ RT much faster but incompatible with Truss+. Old Truss+ trusses won’t work with new Truss+ RT trusses anymore. You will be able to use Truss+ for your old projects and Truss+ RT for new ones.

We made a better tool with much more capabilities, versatility and speed. Feel free to try it and feel the difference.

If you have any questions regarding the use of Truss+ RT or Truss+ , don’t hesitate to contact me and I will be more than happy to answer.
