As a valid analytic tool, a comparison matrix serves to determine the basic characteristics of an object. In our case, AGA CAD product managers have prepared comparison matrixes those determine the basic characteristics of BIM software Autodesk Revit without and with additional tools for Revit. Our comparison matrixes outline the most typical features of Revit that are used in modelling, documentation and project data analysis processes.

While reviewing a comparison matrix for Revit MEP users and others (for Revit Architecture or Revit Structure users), our blog readers should consider the following points.

Firstly, it's important to know that some features highlighted for Revit with extensions are in the plain Revit too, but Revit add-ons enable to make those actions ten or sometimes hundred times faster.

Also, AGA CAD tools for Revit and BIM solutions make progress constantly likewise Revit as well, so more characteristics may be added for multifaceted comparison in the future. But today we are sharing the comparison matrix such as it is at the moment:

If you find any feature of Revit which you would like to improve, you are welcome to download fully operational version of any tool for Revit or BIM solution here.

Thank you.
