A post-show glance at TPS 2018

The Precast Show 2018 took place at the end of February, and what a terrific event it was for us to attend and exhibit at! The venue, the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, was fantastic with plenty of space for the hundreds of exhibitors showing off everything from big rigs and various precast equipment to engineering consulting services and software like us.

Here’s the big blue bear looking in on the action from outside the convention center atrium.

We’d like to extend a big THANK YOU to everyone who visited our booth!

Some of our neighboring booths had some sleek lifting gear.

The first day was certainly the busiest for us. We got to meet several current clients in person for the first time, so it was really great to strengthen those connections. Also, several people who had participated in our recent “BIM for Precast webinar told Valensas that they were really impressed with it. On Day 2, we heard that 4,690 people were on the trade show floor, which was apparently a record for the event. And Day 3 was more of the same with the added bonus of exploring some of the other exhibits for ourselves.

Of course structural designers showed the most interest in our Precast Concrete software, but some manufacturers and people in the construction industry were interested in how it could be applied further down the line. Design-build firms indicated that it holds big potential for them.

We also had some time to explore downtown Denver a bit. Here’s the capitol building:

We’re already looking forward to Louisville, Kentucky for TPS 2019!
